abstract painting and semi-abstract photography exploring mountains and memory
I created these paintings over the course of 2024. Then, one day in November, I shot photos at Keystone. I paired each painting with a photo, and then edited the photo inspired by the painting. The paintings were not initially planned to suggest ski scenes. It was only after I completed them that I realized they surfaced scenes from my memories of Colorado landscapes and mountain adventures.
